When my parents passed away, I realized my mistake. I didn’t ask enough questions about their parents and other family members. No one knew enough to direct me or even where I should start. So, I started like a lot of other people on Ancestry.com and started to find people that I could possibly be related to… since I started this project, when my 1st child was born, I now have hundreds more relatives both in the US and Ireland that I didn’t even know about. I recently discovered, through the Ancestry DNA testing, that someone who shares my DNA though I have never met him, was able to correct the flaws in my paternal mothers line and he had the proof! I was spending countless hours looking for the wrong Great Grandmother and Grandfather!
